Detail QC/ QA Analyzer System For Sodium In LPG
AppliTek’ s research has lead to the development of a proprietary wet-chemical technique for quality control in LPG manufacturing.
The performance and life of combustion engines optimized for LPG can severely deteriorate through elevated Sodium levels in the engine gas. Determining these levels at the downstream stage helps refineries to adjust process conditions. Whereas conventional laboratory techniques such as ICP or AAS can provide extremely high resolution and level of detection, these are of limited use in modern-day production processes where fast process feedback is required.

Sodium in LPG manufacturing
Operational benefits
Increase product quality
Enhance and control of LPG purification ( caustic washing)
Precision of 0.1% ( range 0.1 - 100 ppm)
Purpose-built sample preconditioning
Reliable operation of the On-line QC/ QA Analyzer System for Sodium in LPG can only be assured by a proper sample preconditioning. The preconditioning of the LPG samples is a custom-designed system specifically for this application, in order to capture the Na compounds in the sample, while avoiding cristallization effects before the analysis stage. Installed as a separate unit, its operation is controlled by the analyzer' s industrial PC.
ATEX conformity
The whole system including preconditioning unit, is Zone 2 certified under the EU ATEX Directive 94/ 9/ EC for use in potentially explosive atmospheres ( Zone 1 also possible) .
